there is a very good solution for it. hallucinogenic mushrooms. I've read a single use made them go away for two months, then another dose would be needed. If you do it right, it can be a good time, and cure your ailment. video of one user. http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/drugs-inc/videos/magic-mushroom-medicine/ He has a bad mindset when it comes to the 'trip'. the mushrooms just magnify whatever mindset you have, that's the trip. If you intentionally keep your mindset positive then the 'trip' will be good. |

I had an ED doc give me a shot of Toridal in the ER one night and it worked in 20 seconds, no shit. If she's got one coming on just take her to the ER, nobody should suffer with one of those bastards. Some info for ya too. |
| I have had cluster headaches for 3 years now and I have found no home remedies or over the counter medication. First I tried all the OTC painkillers as well as aspirin and melatonin with no success. I then went to the neurologist and was prescribed a daily dosage of nortryptilyn and imitrex nasal sprays for aborting the headache. Used those 2 drugs combined for 2 years and they did not work at all so I stopped taking them and haven't had an episode since. On occasion I will feel one very faintly coming on in my left eye (always my left eye), but nowhere near the magnitude of how they were when I first started getting to them. I consider myself very lucky now because it was the worst physical pain I have ever endured in my life. However, if I do start cycling again, I will get an oxygen tank/ mask. |

I'm a long time CH sufferer....NOTHING really "helps".....ice packs and Butorphanol nasal spray help me cope and get by without killing myself during those times where I don't think they'll pass. Good luck to ya buddy, hang in there. This. My wife suffers from them. Although it's not as severe now as it was 10 years ago. However, when they hit the only thing she can really do is rest in a dark room. She's allergic to NSAIDs and Tylenol does nothing. |

I watched both my father, and my boss suffer through these. My dad would go into his room, turn off all the lights, the house would go so quiet as to make a sub in silent running seem loud, and we would all pray for the day he finally found a cure. Unfortunately, there was no cure, only things that made sucking down his 1911 a worse option than riding it out. He has not had one in over 20 years, probably closer to 30, thank god! Time, at least the last I looked into them, is the only cure, folks seem to outgrow them.
Oxygen helps, as does ice, pain meds and a darkened room (my folks had no windows in their bedroom) with a tomb quiet house. Your wife has my sympathies as these are hell. Hell on the family too, cause you have to watch them go through it. |

www.clusterheadaches.com
http://clusterbusters.clusterheadaches.com/ I have been a Clusterhead for 24 years. Started having them when I was 18, had 2 cycles a year, normally 8 weeks each. Like clockwork - they are extremely regular - you sufferers will know what I am taking about. These are NOT normal migraines or normal headaches. Clusters are their own beast. About 15 years ago I found the right Acupuncturist, and as long as I got in and had 3-4 treatments when I was still shadowing, I would skip the cycle. Oh I'd feel like shit for a few weeks, but NO headaches at all. If you don't know what shadowing is, your not a cluster sufferer. About 4 years ago the Acup started not working as well as it had in the past, and I was about to start a cycle. I went back and read on the above site clusterbusters... Pay particular attention to the parts on the Rivea corymbosa. Since reading this, I have not had a single headache. None. None. There is a cure for these bastards - this is it. Seriously, I'd be dead now if not for this. I was taking 4 times the daily does of Sumatriptian, and taking Midrin, and was destroying myself. Multiple Neurologist told me I'd be lucky to live to 50 with getting these so young. Either I'd commit suicide, or die from the all the meds via stroke. There is currently testing going on at multiple universities all over the country on this as a cure for clusters. It is not a joke. IM me if you want more info. |
