My doctor just put me on Previstatin for slightly elevated LDL, Triglycerides and Total Cholesterol.
He also told me to start with CoQ10.  I went to the local Pharmacy and 100mg gels are $29.99 for 60.
Good Lord that is expensive for a Vitamin Supplement.  What say the MD's amongst us.  Also is anyone
else taking it and is it worth it?  I am frugal bordering on cheap since being medically retired.

Statins interfere with biosynthesis of CoQ10 so it is absolutely important that you supplement.

Probably the three supplements you should take as you get older is CoQ10, Omega III oil, and DHEA.
I take them pretty religiously and I can tell you they help a great deal.

Sam's Club...can't recall the price, but very inexpensive. I take them every day.

What you really want is Ubiquinol from CoQ10.
