I went through the "Yo Homey" scene in slow motion. I didn't realize until then that the second mugger had a gun in his waistband. He managed to draw it, but dropped it when Vincent lit him up. It was a good scene, even in slow motion. That movie has some of the best music that's come along in a while. |

WARNING: Potential Spoiler. The down side was that the ending was predictable. Long before the end of the movie you knew he was going after the girl and the cabbie was going to save her and stop him. It would have been a great opportunity for a twisted ending, but you ended up just waiting for the inevitable. |
Don't forget the entire Miami Vice TV series. |

I found a link with a discussion of speed-rock technique speed rock |
IIRC from training, the speed rock portion is when he fires the first two rounds on the #1 bad guy with the gun right out of the holster, still at waste level. That part is a little harder to see, but you take the shots at such a close range that you don't even elevate the pistol to see the sights. You just rock the gun out of the holster and fire. |
Yep, I was gonna write it, but i figured someone else had to remember! |
