Lately, I have started getting calls again (it happened about 4-5 years ago, too) from what appears to be a collection agency in India.  The callers’ English language skills are always poor.

The calls come at all hours – got one today @ 8:30AM.   They are looking for my Ex’s former husband (the guy after me).   I assume they are trying to catch the dirtbag “at home”.

Anyway, they won’t leave any way to contact them, and hang up each time when I press them for more info.  I have told them repeatedly that I am not the guy they are looking for, but they keep calling.

So now I am thinking about a misinformation campaign.  I am open to suggestions… any way this be turned into something fun?

I remember a reverse prank where a comedian pretended he was a detective working a murder scene when a telemarketer called. Asked the guy how he knew the murdered person and so forth. It was pretty damn funny. I'll see if I can find it.

ETA: it was tom mabe and can be seen here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7OgWcwgB50
