I hadn't seen these before, but it looks like they have been around for a while:

They are running $30.95 if you buy them from Cammenga. Bud's Gun shop is selling them for $18.96....

Pretty cool!

Fortunately NY State has saved me from having to make decisions like this or I might have picked up a few.

How have I not heard of these?

Is there a reason why they're not more popular?  Have some of our Tier 1 ARFoppers put these to the test yet, and possibly found them wanting?  Because frankly...they look pretty good to me.

Putting a LOADED mag on top of an EMPTY mag and then smashing them with a sledgehammer? Yeah, go figure that the empty mag deforms.

I can load 2 G.I. mags using stripper clips, in less time.

Edit;

FWIW, the Mag in the Vid has been available for nearly 20 years. Maybe longer.

I have one, its not bad but it is what it is.

If you dont know how to slam it home just right it throws all the rounds out of the top. Once you understand how they work its cake. Mine is reliable and I havent had any troubles the few times I used it.

Neat range toy? Yep.

But about as practical as a Chinese drum in real use.
