Colorado weather will baffle me until the day that I die. I had a bike delivered today at noon. It was 65°F and sunny out. I had to cover it at 3pm because it's supposed to snow 8" tonight. ![]() Bicycle or motorcycle? What did you get? The kiddo and I spent the day at Valley Dirt Riders, anticipating no motorcycle action tomorrow |

Nice! I absolutely love my Yamaha Raider and have been all over the place with it. But I could go some many more places with KLR650. They are just the perfect bike for Colorado. Exactly my thoughts. Keep your eyes out for a dude with a big beard riding a KLR650 around the state this year. Wave if you see me. |

No shit, I almost bought one of those Tuesday, I visited the Kawi dealer in Loveland. Let me know how you like it. I've got a HD up for sale to fund the purchase of the KLR. I *might* go with an older DRZ400 instead now, and also pick up a used FZ1 - I'm undecided. |

Andrasik how's the KLR working for you? Pretty nicely so far. Unfortunately it's not running right at the moment. Either someone kicked it over or the wind blew it over and the bar end weight got all jacked up and is making the throttle stick. Gotta get that figured out. |

Take an allen wrench, and loosen up the bar end, pull it out a little bit and tighten back up. Should take 5 minutes. |

Have also tried threading the bolt in a bit and hitting it with a hammer to activate that little mechanism but no dice. |

Looking like a good weather forecast here in CO for the week, hope to get out and do some more riding. |

Andrasik, I picked up this over the weekend, still trying to decide on a KLR or something like a 450 or even a 250.
Let me know if you're up this way one of these weekends and want to do some riding. |

Nice! Looking at the same bike for my wife, actually. She's tiny (5'1) so it's hard to find bikes that she fits on. We're doing MSF this weekend as she's never ridden before. |
