7 week old Yellow Lab. Picked him up Tuesday. I have a kid of my own, but I feel like a kid again. I grew up with labs and they all hold a big piece of my heart.
Unfortunately, I now have a little bit of house/potty training to do...the rest of the training is fun though. |

I know a guy in Austin who trains them . I went on a dove hunt with 3 of them and they all retrieved excellent. All were yellow labs. My father trained them about 10+ years ago. I'm hoping to be successful training him to retrieve and track to an extent on my own, or with some of my father's help. I've only had him for 4 days and have him sitting and laying down on command when he is focused and he is doing well with crate and house training. My brother picked a boy lab out of the same litter. That pup isn't progressing as fast, but his personality is different. That one is much more needy and playful than mine. |
