A friend of mine dropped these off with me today and was wondering if I was interested in buying them. He bought a surplus duece and a half and these were behind the drivers seat

I thought they would be a cool adition to the collection, but I have no clue as to what to offer him for them

So what do you think they are worth???

I've seen rubber ducks go for up to $150.  If he is a buddy, and has not real attachment for them, I say $100 for both.  Simple number, and you could sell them again and easily break even. They make a neat conversation piece.

It's been a long time since basic, but I seem to remember those bitches were heavy compared to an A1 when running the bayonet assault course.

I thought a $100.00 for the pair would be a good deal, I think he is set on more though

Those are neat.  I have a AKS74 rubber duck, don't so those everyday.

One thing wierd about M16A1 rubber ducks is that the serial numbers tend to be low 600,000 range, don't think there were any actual A1's made with that low of a serial number.

Your friend can send those to me for recycling.  I'll even pay postage.

They give them to color guards when they don't want the real guns out.  Betcha they were issued to the troops when Clinton was visiting.
