 “You may all go to hell, and I will go to Texas” Davy Crockett Be like Davy, come to Texas and shoot stuff. November 7-9th Rockdale, TX There will be 75 run slots total (6 night runs not counting staff the weekend before) 10 spots reserved for newbs from Texas. Once the 75 spots are filled, standby list will be made to replace peeps who fail obstacle 0. Runs will end at 10am sharp on Saturday November 9th so there is time for awards, pictures and cleaning up the place. THE COURSE: OBSTACLE PEEP RUN SHOOT CHUG GEAR LIST: Rifle w/mags/ammo (60 total rounds or max 2 mags) Pistol w/mags/ammo (42 total rounds or max 2 mags) 6 carbonated beverages If you don’t have something or forget it in a lesser state, ask. Someone will let you use what you need. OVERALL RULES: Follow all firearms safety rules. Be ready to run as soon as you arrive, no pop’n a top to put your run off to the following day No handling of firearms after drinking. No airsoft at this event. No items of a sexual nature, there are kiddos around. Must sign a waiver before running. If you break any of these rules you will be banned from this and all future Cola Warriors. COURSE RULES: 5 min. penalty for each failed obstacle. Each obstacle must be attempted for at least 10 seconds. 5 min. penalty for each peep uneaten or spit out. 5 min. penalty for each target left un-hit, one hit on each steel target. 10 minute total chug time allowed, any remaining will be penalized. 6 12oz cans, 3 24oz cans or 1 2liter with a 5oz chaser are the only allowed sizes. If you spew before finishing a 12oz can, no matter how much is left that can is a 5 minute penalty. If you spew before finishing a 24oz can, no matter what’s left it’ll be a 10 minute penalty. If you spew before finishing the 2liter it is a 30 minute penalty. All bottles and cans will be shown empty before throwing to the side or spewing. The run portion will be with cleared rifle, cleared pistol and mags. Firearms will be triple checked so make sure it’s cleared. There may/may not be wild animals encountered during the run. ABSOLUTLY NO SHOOTING AT PIGS OR ANYTHING ELSE DURING THE RUN! You can throw your pistol and mags in a backpack or utilize a suitable holster. Guns and mags will be stashed at the peep station prior to starting your run. Everyone will shoot pistol first with your rifle slung. Once pistol portion is done you show clear you can re-holster or dump your sidearm and move to rifle. DONATIONS: Please list your ARF username when donating. Cola Warrior is a free event. But we need donations to get enough funding for food/porta-pots/etc. Cola Warrior is free but food and drinks are not. ($75 is a rough estimate per attendee) You want food and Port-O-Pots? I know it's early, but I'll be passing near the Austin airport on way there / back so may be able to help shuttle in/out depending on schedules. I see the paypal link, but is there anyone on staff that would take a venmo from me and then send to paypal? |

Fuuuck. I have a partially torn achilles. I shouldn't even be considering it. But its so close to my house….damn it. I hate to take a run slot when I dont know if I’ll be able to run. Can I jump straight to the standby/injured/retarded list? (Am cola vet, but its been years since I’ve done one) |

Put me on the list. Last week I was scheduled to be on a rig in NE PA those dates.  This week I'm scheduled to be laid off on those dates.  Depending on how my job search goes I have around a 50% chance of being on my way to, or on my way home, from somewhere in Texas on those dates.

Please place me on the the Injured List, I'm going to be coming off surgery. I will attend and I'm willing to do scut work. I will be bringing my 15 year old son for his first run. I don't know how you guys are handling +1. Not sure how feel about him taking up a newb spot. Let me know. Also cola vet RiverBravo2 doesn't do ARFCOM and is 100% in. ETA: Combat |
