As a veteran of the cold war, I hate the commie red star and everything it represents. This sign is right around the corner from me. I apologize if this topic has been posted already.

Several people out at my college have made a hammer/sickle stencil and have been spray painting Obama signs with the Red star...

O'rly? Considering that area, not surprising. What is surprising is that on my street, there are more McCain signs than obammer signs! That commie star is a surprisingly obvious nod to communism. I'd really like to see someone call him out on it - i.e.,  ask if he's aware that a red 5-sided star is a universally-recognized symbol for communism. Then, when he claims that it's a coincidence, ask him why he wouldn't consider using a swastika instead, since they're both "merely symbols".
