These guys machined a PC case from aluminum to look like a British WW1 tank. |

Quoted: ![]() But damn, if they went to that much trouble, why not go the extra mile and make it RC? Awesome project, but disappointed by lack of this :) Check of some of Bill Owens mods from MNPC Tech. I've registered on at least 4 forums solely so I can follow his project logs. |

I thought the same. I'm guessing they had more drill bits than jigsaw blades at their disposal. |

I was trying to understand why they would take the time and money to lathe such perfect track wheels for tracks that won't move. Then I saw the Cyrillic writing at the bottom and I understood.
Anyway... Ban it for the chillins'. Our streets and computer terminals are no place for weapons of war. |

You have any idea how long it would take to cut all those wheels out of half inch billet with a fucking hand saw?
It would suck an entire wall of dicks. |

It would suck an entire wall of dicks. Start with round bar stock. Chuck into lathe (which they already do once they cut out the blocks from the flat). No wonder the poor bastards lost the Cold War. They don't even have CNC. Even *I* have CNC. |

That's what immediately came to my mind also. |
