| I have one set of surround sound speakers and two PCs I want to be able to run the speakers (not at the same time). Can anybody recommend a low-cost switch that will let me switch the speaker input between the PCs? |

The only thing I could find off newegg were multimedia KVM switches: www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Submit=GO&Range=1&bop=and&description=speaker+switch&InnerCata=143 |
Thanks, but I don't need a full-blown KVM switch. |
Just google something like "guitar a/b switch schematic". That's what I did. You just end up using 1/8" jacks instead of 1/4" inch jacks. Nothin' to it. |
Thanks. This is the one I came up with when I Google'd for it, but I figured there would be cheaper ones out there. I'll probably run by Radio Shack tonight. If they don't have one I can buy, I'll just pick up the materials and make one myself. |
