[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Computer Gurus - Firefox help

My cousin just installed Firefox on my comp in lieu of IE, now it worked fine all day, and just started giving me error messages .

Alert
The operation timed out when attempting to contact Biz.AR15.com

I cannot do anything on my firefox browser until I click "ok" every time an AR15 page loads, it shows me the hourglass whilst i'm reading, then after a few seconds the message pops up. not having any problems on any other sites, just Arfcom. this just started happening within the hour.

Any Suggestions>?

It's not a problem with Firefox. It's because biz.ar15.com is down again.z

what is biz.ar15.com, and why does my browser automatically look for it? i mean it popped up while i was typing this even...?

The ad at the top of the page is an inline frame that contains content from bz.ar15.com.z

Its the banner ad in the top right corner of the site. Just hit stop on the browser before the page loads. It is not firefox, it is the site.

Wow, thanks guys. i don't know a whole lot about firefox but i already like it more than IE. thanks again, i did that fix in one of those links, we'll see how it works.
