Got a small size CD i need to read, put it in and it spins for a second and stops. Is there something to type in to make it work right? Ive tried threating it already.

Nope, pop it in like anyother. UNLESS, you have a 1990 model disc drive

Are you sure its a 3 inch CD and not a minidisc?

It says pocket cd-r made by memorex
My drive is an 80's model lol 52 times speed.

Have you tried it in any other drives?
It should just work, unless there is either something wrong with the disc, or the drive.
