[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Computer help?

I was working at my workstation yesterday (on ARFCom) and I don't remember what I did, but suddenly all the fonts got smaller. I tried resetting the screen resolution but no joy. I'm using Explorer. Any cluez?

You moved to far away from the monitor, try moving closer

(AKA, bump)

Hit ctrl-zero, ctrl-plus, and/or ctrl-minus.

It's also under the View menu, Zoom.

Mousewheel does it as well, but doesn't provide a way to reset the zoom.

Bumping the ctrl key while turning the mouse wheel is usually what gets me.

Happened to me once.

I was installing some backup s/w on a friend's server... rebooted and waited... and waited.... and waited... then got the message:

"CANNOT FIND WINDOWS 32 KERNEL."

That was a loooong afternoon.
