I have a Toshiba netbook NB505 I just replaced the screen on. I go to turn it on and the screen only lights up. No images or anything pops up or the main screen. Should I retake it apart and make sure the connection is on properly is it something else?

if you dont get a BIOS screen or anything I would take it apart and make sure you put the connections back on correctly.

This.

And cross your fingers that you didn't fry something with a little ESD while you were doing it the first time.

Do you get any beeps or anything? Just lights and the fan spinning up?

If it is just the display then you should hear it beep as normal. Also, if it has a external video connection, connect it to a monitor and see if it boots up. If you hear nothing but a processor fan and see lights then it is probably fried.
