Hard to tell what the context is.

But suppose that it is some Democratic skullduggery to ram a really distasteful energy policy through. They might be laughing now but if we have to pay 6 bucks a gallon because of it...

From the sidebar:

Democrats in the House Energy and Commerce Committee have hired a speed reader, in case Republicans request for the more than 900 page bill to be read aloud. Invoking their procedural right to have the bill read aloud could advance the Republican's plan to stall a vote on the bill. Committee Chairman Henry Waxman wants the bill voted out of the committee before Congress breaks for its Memorial Day recess next week

I think something WOULD be done about 900 page bills when they realize they have to sit through them, rather than trying to bend the rules

Can we just fire EVERYONE who works in D.C. and start over from scratch? You're not allowed to hold ANY public office if you worked for the federal government in an elected or appointed position.

Except for Fred Thompson. He can still run for office, assuming he still has a pulse.

We can, but will we?  I'm going to simply start using CMJohnson's idea.  I'm going to mail the oppening of the Declaration along with each story generated by these shit-for-brains.  I'm done writing carefully worded letters.  I can't fucking keep up, and I'm getting to the ragged edge of rage over this shit.

I'm with you, brother.  I was thinking bad thoughts, which, I believe is against the law now.
