Both my sons have moved out and onto their life. We recently were asked by a life long friend if we would house his son and a his buddy while they went on vacation. (the buddy was a friend of my son before he left). This is two 18 year olds who are getting ready for ITT classes to start. One is a Eagle scout and one is a Christen martial artist. They have done very little shooting. And have been "conditioned" by public schools that guns are bad. I have placed Amerian Handgunner, Shotgun News, and other gun related publications where they can find them. Kid 1's dad has used his CCW to stop three attempted robberies, but he has no balls after that. Dad for some reason won't talk to his son about using the 1911A1 the he carried for the right cause. Dad don't carry any more as the sold the retail stores . Well, I have in the space of one week, to field strip a AR, take s 1911 down to the frame. Tomorrow we shoot. |

The dad's story is interesting, to say the least. Jesus, when I get an anti-gunner giving me grief over my CCW, it's always something like "Have you ever shot anyone? I didn't think so. You don't need it." This guy needed his three times, and he up and quit? Strange. |
