I love it when 2 or 1 cop(s) give contradictory commands. Officer "MOVE OUTTA THE CAR!" *Suspect starts moving..* Officer, "STOP MOVING!" Even better when 2 officers give opposite commands. I would hate to be in that situation. Wasn't conflicting commands. The officer told him to get out of the car. The guy starts fumbling around and the same oficer told to stop moving around. I don't like guys like the taser/OC officer. He gave zero warning, the warning not only gives the suspect an ultimatum it also gives the other officers a heads up. He just showed up and started tasing and OCing. Really was zero communication at the time. Some people play games and just ignore you like you're not even there. A, I'm gonna tase you or spray usually works. I wonder what the guys medical condition was? |

Better to resign so he doesn't have a termination on his resume. Now he can just go work for the next PD or sheriffs dept down the road. Quoted:

That was very poorly handled by all involved. Would have been a good firing had the officer not resigned. Better to resign so he doesn't have a termination on his resume. Now he can just go work for the next PD or sheriffs dept down the road. Wonderful.
Maybe he'll get his head pulled out of his ass and/or some decent UoF training there. Of course, he should be looking forward to his new career as a sandwich artist. |

Why is the driver being charged if it was proven that he had a medical episode when the accident happened? For the same reason they charged that college girl with assault on an officer when they thought her sparkling water was an underage alcohol purchase. When cops fuck up they charge the innocent to hopefully hide their fuck-up. |

I just read a couple of articles, none say what the medical reason was. One does state that the driver claims to have been "feeling sick for a couple of days". He also was so sick that he had beer in the car with him.
Even though I think the one officer should have issued commands before using force ( though not required in every scenario). The driver seemed well enough that he was able to exit after being sprayed. You'd be shocked how many people use silly excuses for not following lawful orders. Not sure that is what happened here. The first officer on scene also had a camera. Wonder how many commands the guy ignored? Acting sick is not and excuse for leaving the scene of an accident or for driving while revoked to go get a beer. As usual there is most likely more to the story than what we are seeing. |

I'm not justifying anything I'm just noting that if an asshole is drunk driving but hasn't injured anyone yet GD will be all over that like stink on shit because of the possibility that he/she could kill an innocent person, but if the guy is not supposed to be driving because of a medical condition which may cause him/her to kill an innocent person...crickets It is the same thing...homie |
