I work as a CO at the jail in Jax, FL and when I worked booking I heard about it all the time. |

Really shows the hard charging tough guy bullshit attitude police officers carry themselves with.
I understand tying up resources and all but it would've taken a whole 2 seconds to see he wasn't urinating and leave. Instead the one officer especially had to stand around, call them idiots, demand they turn off their cameras, and generally be a prick until he got his arrest. What a total douche. |

Because these idiots are obviously doing this over and over and over, generating 911 calls and tying up police officers. Notice the cops with the girl just thought it was an honest mistake and apologized Quoted:

But also notice the instant assumption on the officers' behalf in those situations as well? Not to mention almost immediate physical contact with bad intentions behind it. If they had turned out to be urinating most of those officers seemed ready to hand out a beat down. |

I didn't see anyone who was about to do anything more than arrest someone for pissing in the street. Don't go around pretending to piss in the street and you won't have angry cops asking you wtf. Quoted:

I'm not trying to get into an argument here but you shouldn't have to look over your shoulder because of law enforcement. Even if you ARE urinating in public. |

Man peeing shot dead after lunging with knife
This is from last month here. The comments are ridiculous. People around here piss me off so bad. In brief homeless guy pissing in the city caught on CCTV. Officers approach and he flees. Taze with no results, guy stops and semi cornered. He lunges with a 9" knife, fire 3 shots 1 struck in chest. Perp dies. People are PISSED saying where else does a homeless guy have to pee, why didn't they use less then lethal when he had the knife. Why didn't they have better training on how to deal with mentally handicapped people. |

Would you want your 5 year daughter walking down the street with you and seeing someone actually urinating? |

"Oh, I do now?" "Yes, you arrested me, transported me to headquarters, and never read my miranda rights. That is a violation of my rights under the constitution" "And I have to let you go now?" "Yes. Or I will sue you, and your department" *laughter* I shoulda asked him what his screen name is. |

Remember that when some drunk is pissing in your front yard. Don't bother the local constable with it.....the drunk is doing nothing wrong. LoL |

Fuck the cops at the end, hope they get fired. Why, articulated the right way it's a lawful arrest for disorderly conduct. Intentionally creating an environment which leads several people to believe there is a crime being commited and therefor calling 911 and having police respond is intentionally tying up public safety resources as well disrupting the public welfare. Kinda like yelling "fire" in a theater. Sorry, once....yeah, good prank. Doing it all day long in the city knowing you are gonna have police respond and you filming it.....disorderly conduct. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. |

Some of these are funny but trolling the police is bad idea and will likely end horribly for someone and same for cops that pull pranks.
The vid later in this thread asking cops if they want a lil buzz, could easily be considered high and thought to be pulling out a gun. A few years back, a semi freind of mine became a county cop. His younger brother (highschooler) was having a party at his parents house. My younger sister was there as well as about 20 others. The parents were out of town and the kids were drinking and sitting in the hottub, beerpong, typical highschool party. Newer county cop (guy I went to school with) and one or two other county cops decide it would be funny to pull into the driveway with their lights on to scare the kids. So they did, and the kids all freaked out and hid in closets ect while some ran out the back door. It was 4 degrees that winter night with a wind chill well below zero, and the house was in the country about 3 miles from town One of the kids that was in the hot tub ran, and decided to try to make it to town to escape cops (prank) He froze to death that night He was found the next day by a railroad worker in a ditch a mile out of town. The officer was quietly fired, it barely made the paper. |

ing hard!
They gave the pranksters exactly what they were looking for. Once they saw what it was the best COA would have been to keep walking. Instead they took the bait and fed the trolls.
