When did Cringe change from a  verb (I cringed when I saw your hair, ) to a  noun (that is so cringe) or a adjective (this is a cringe website) or a adverb (you painted that cringely).

"cringe" as an adjective has been a thing for...quite a while...like decades. It's a shortened version of "cringeworthy" fwiw.

Slang changes. Always will.

I learned "Ohio toilet skibidi" last year,
and rizz and gyat last week, thanks to my
kids and younger 2nd wife.

~2012. It spread and got more popular with the rise of streaming and short video compilations(vine/tiktok) in 2016 or so.

True. It has been around and used that way since the mid-2000's but it didn't take off in popularity until much later.
