FUCK YEAH............i remember 2003 1969. I cried like a little bitch. Wearing my Sosa jersey, boys got Zambrano jersery and nephew wearing Prior jersey. Go Cubs, Go!!!! FIFY. Of course I was nine years old and cried a bunch when the Mets destroyed the Cubs. |

Wife is a HUUUUGE Cubbies fan, with the family to match. Grandma is on the far side of 90 and still watches all the games.
I'm along for the ride, these guys are a helluva lot of fun to watch (and lets be serious... being a Milwaukee fan I'm not really sure what postseason baseball is all about). With all that said, I'm pretty sure the "Hey Chicago what do you say?" song is played on a loop in hell. |

Quoted: As a 50 year old Cubs fan, I never thought I'd see this day. In my little neighborhood 30 miles west of Chicago, there were fieworks from every direction for at least 30 minutes after the final out. Guess she has a choice of TRYING to sleep,.. or joining the damn party. |

Was fireworks in my neighborhood too even here in Eastern Iowa, The Rangers came to Texas right when I became a baseball fan. My granddad was so happy to have a major league team within 50 miles. We both became Rangers fans, went to quite a few games, listened to every game on the radio, WBAP 820. It was treat when a game was on TV. When the Rangers won the AL West in '96 I cried like a baby, remembering all the great times with grampa. Funny how what many here call a worthless waste of time can have a life long impact. |

The Cubs should win that series as long as injuries from crap thrown by the fans at the players is kept at a minimum ![]() Good time to bring back nickel beer night! Lmao. I remember that Brown fans pelted Santa Claus with snowballs in 1968. That's pretty harsh. |

Oops, it was 10 cent beer night.
