Dose anyone here know where to get brass made to custom dimensions (not just wildcat cartridges)? |
|
Quoted: Get custom dies made, and make the brass yourself out of something else... that's what most wildcatters and BR shooters do... It could be cheaper to machine brass. It would depend on how many pieces of brass the OP wants. You can easily spend over $2000 getting custom dies made. |

Im sure you can spend that much, but it can be done way less than that.... most custom dies are made by programming a computer that automates the machining process, and there are a decent amount of companies that do it. I know a few wildcatters that have a bunch of of custom dies made for their own brass and chamber reamer designs, some of which end up never being used... and there is now way they are spending anywhere $2k on dies for any of them. |
