Usually most of my online purchases are a purely transactional exchanges that I don't ever reflect on, but I felt the need to review one company: Old Coleman Parts. I bought a couple 4 packs of mantels for a lantern ($4.50 total) and shipping was $5.00. That was fine and I didn't even blink an eye. Ordered them late on Friday (after business hours) and had a package waiting for me this afternoon. Open it up with a handwritten note saying that they refunded $2.00 of the $5.00 for shipping. I was floored honestly. Partly that anyone would write a note for such a small order, but mainly for refunding shipping on something that came fast enough to justify the relatively small fee (and that I didn't complain about). Cool story bro and all that. Anyways, A+ to them, highly recommend. |
| My browser crashed when I hit confirm on a$400 order. I didn't get a confirmation so I reordered. Sure as shit, I had two confirmations the next day. I tried to cancel one order. But they shipped in less than 12 hours. They not only took one order back with a full refund, they sent me a check for the return shipping charges. Woodcraft rocks. |
| I call B.S. on Coleman. Ordered $11 worth of parts. Never got them. The last tracking showed them in route from one city to another. Strangely enough, the mail truck crashed and burned. This is public knowledge and documented in the news. Coleman tried to tell me that tracking showed as delivered and to basically get lost, instead of offering to contact USPS. Screw them and all their other Co.'s Not one more dime from me. |
