That's right. For not putting this in the wargaming forum. And then getting pissy when called on it. There is a zero-tolerance policy in effect regarding airsoft. ETA: How long does everyone thing we can keep this on the first page of GD even with the new thread title? |

Thanks, you're right FFYR. I got carried away with the nuts and bolts of waging the campaign against airsoft in GD and didn't stop to think of the real issue. |

A member asks a question (I did not see the question, only this aftermath) and is greeted with hostile namecalling. Guys, this is the end of the line for assaulting anyone who mentions Airsoft. As you can see from his edited words he asked a simple question for his son's benefit. No more of this.

All who don't care for Airsoft and are just driven to a rage by its mere mention are encouraged to find other threads to amuse themselves with. We ask this kind of thing not happen again. That was not the original question posed, no mention was made of any kids, also, the called everyone an asshole and got flamed at that point. No one called him anything until he labeled everyone an "asshole" |

I never tried to decide anything, seriously, I did not call anyone a name until he said we were all assholes. I like airsoft threads in GD, they are fun. |
I don't believe I broke COC. I didn't call anyone names. Are there other rules governing this issue I need to be aware of? Because I intend to abide by all rules while hopefully being able to participate in GD like anyone else. Respectfully, IAL ETA: I know I don't decide what gets posted because I don't have mod privileges. But I thought I could decide what and how I respond/reply to providing I don't violate COC. |
And here we somebody who loves to violate the spirit with impunity but likes to say they've done nothing wrong because they never violated the letter.

The rules are there for a reason. They're not your rules, they're someone else’s. I fully intend to follow them. Isn't that why they're there? What is the spirit of the rules? Your interpretation? Someone should post that somewhere I guess since the written rules don't seem to be good enough for you. Or would the written spirit then be the written rules and someone else would have to come up with their idea of the spirit of those rules? |
