Do you get full DLA if you are PCSing and you are going to try to move from one bases housing to another bases housing? I do know you get partial DLA if you are just moving on base from the local community without PCS orders because I've done that before. The topic came up and several people at work said I would not get the full DLA if I moved directly on base during my PCS and that I would only get it if I rented a house in the surrounding area. That seems weird since I am moving across a few states and not just accross town. Anyone have any experience with this? Will I get partial or full DLA? It is not in the FAQ at the mypay website. |
