Not sure, I know with a few magnets you can make one hell of a projectile. But it still makes a loud cracking noise.

From what I understand MetalStorm is pretty much caseless ammo stacked in tubes.

Yeah, but the ridiculous rate of fire is what caught my attention. Different ways of approaching the same final goal.

I am calling on this one. It's a nice fantasy but they have yet to really get a working rail gun with out having to rebuild it after every other shot.

Edit: Also what about powering?

Did you watch the video of it? They only show a split second of it in action. Looks cool though.

Yeah but show me the whole gun, I bet it takes up nearly a room. and shoots bb's under 500fps. Looked like it was shooting paper.

Edit: also no where near 120,000 rounds a minute. It would basically been like a shotgun blast.

Thats what I was thinking too. My mossterd blows bigger holes than that thing.
