I have the STG58 parts kit rifle from DSA. The reliability is great I have never had problem with mine. The parts kit you will pay a lot less for the rifle than if you bought the DSA one. Mags are cheap you can get them for $8.00. Check out this site fore Info.www.l1a1.com

The DSA FALs are one of the best if not the best available. The SA58 is an all new gun and available in sevearal configurations.

The STG58's are parts guns built on a new DSA receiver. They are avaailable in sevearl configurations as well.

The SA58 will cost a couple hundred more than the STG58. Either one is top quality. I went for the standard length SA58 for my first one. Next time i'll most likely go with the STG because its cheaper. Either way you can't go wrong. Check out the site for all configurations.

You can get used (read: rusty) FAL mags from TAPCO for 4 bucks.  Better condition for 5 bucks.
