www.afterdawn.com & www.vcdhelp.com A lot of info for beginners on them. Also you must use NERO or Roxio to actually burn the disks. If you get a lot of failures it might be the speed you're burning at. Try a lower speed. Also what are you going to burn?? DVD's you rented?? or AVI's you downloaded???? If it's both you're going to need a bunch o' programs. You'll need TMPGEnc to convert the AVI to MPG then use Nero to put the MPG on a DVD. Instead of TMPGEnc you can use WINAVI not free but very fast!! To copy already burnt DVD's you'll need DVD decrypter + DVD shrink. All of this stuff is very complicated and you'll definatly need a newbie guide from the above web sites. |

I was using AnyDVD and CloneDVD for a while, but I was having some problems withthe last few I copied. I don't know if the copyright protection shit they put on the discs was upgraded to beat AnyDVD or something. My friend says he still uses those two and has had no problems... but I don't know if he actually checks everything he burns. He's got shelves filled with spindles of copied movies.... he's kind of obsessive compulsive with the whole copying thing. He has the highest rental membership with Netflix you can get and goes through some serious money copying things as soon as they come in and sends them right back out. |
