I love my car- But everything in it slides around all the time, set a pack on the front seat and hit the brakes- boom pack on floor.
I am looking at different ways I can add storage to the interior of the car- not so much the trunk. I have a Nissan Altima, I miss my JEEP but I get killer mileage and am not chasing down funky engine cooling and electrical issues now. I noticed SOE Visor organizers, and will be getting one or two of those. How do you keep crap in your car? |

Back in the day when I was a road warrior and my car was my office, I had one of those passenger seat valets that attached to the passenger seat. Straps went around the seatback to keep it secure. Held everything, including my laptop. I don't recall the brand, but I'm sure you can find a bunch of them on Amazon, and just choose based on the reviews.
This looks pretty good. |
| Someone here has to have one of these from Duluth. Hopefully they'll chime in, cause I've been thinking about one myself. |

There's a seat organizer thing you can put on the passenger seat. http://www.forestry-suppliers.com/Images/Original/3800_35397_p1.jpg |

I use my seatbelts to secure most stuff in my car I use bungee cords hooked into the LATCH hooks for other things. The LATCH hooks are the little metal loops used for car seats.
Pull the SB all the way out and you'll hear it ratchet as it retracts, that locks it into place, its for car seats. Works well for back packs temporarily in the front. I have a milk crate secured on the rear seat with the seatbelt and a bungee cord, I keep folders and binders in it. I also have one of these bungee nets against the upright portion of the seat. It holds a coat, rain coat, and reflective vest behind it. I have misc. junk clipped onto it with carabineers also. |
