Was totally looking forward to shooting my a2 build I put together last night........with the exception of the friggin gas tube roll pin that jettisoned into oblivion at the first strike of the punch. No problem, right? Let's fo to the hardware store for a 5/64 pin. Ace? nope. No name hometown hardware? Nope. Well, I need to go 45 miles for some supplies at menards and home depot. Surely one of those will have it and I'll shoot when I get back. Nope. No a2 rounds downrange. No fond memories revisited. Can I paypal somebody a couple bucks to have a pin taped to a 3x5 card from their Fastenal bulk stash and mailed to me? |

I've never had a problem finding the right size in Ace. But for a temporary fix, why not just thread a piece of wire paper clip through it and twist it well? . This. If I REALLY wanted to shoot it, I'd find something to hold that tube in place 'til I could get the proper pin. |
