Since I joined this site back in '06, I have seen my gun collection grow from a basic SKS/870/Glock to, well, WAY more than that. And I attribute it directly to surfing around here. My wallet hates me now, and I have no room for more guns. Still I buy more. :P

On the plus side, I've finished all those "must have guns" lists in the technical forums.

My experience is very similar to yours...
I remember before I joined arfcom I would actually get just one box of ammunition at a time.

I would have an aneurysm if I dropped below 1000 rounds now.

Well I was never that bad

I had a Mosin Nagant and a K98 when I started lurking here.  Now....

This is about half of them. Old pic, many of the surplus rifles have been traded for nicer examples. The old SKS is gone, however I have plenty of other guns to fill it's place.

I've also added more handguns...

I'll be getting into NFA pretty soon too.

I was 15 years old when I joined the site...I had no motivation to ask my dad to buy more than one brick of .22 for me at a time...that all changed.

Ah yes, you can still buy a suppressor though...just to look at.

Is that a 10/22 with a butthole stock I see there?

I feel where you're coming from. There was a point in time back in 2001 when a Ruger P95 and 50 rds of Hydra-shock was all i thought I would need.

Then I started lurking around this place. ( and the SF )

Maybe you need a largersafe to keep them in, thus eliminating the lame excuse of having nowhere to put them. Don't ever forget the rule of 2's.

I love old things.

I have a C&R.

My wife often makes me sleep on the couch.
