Holy shit, this just may be it. Sure looks like a vise, and if it is, I think I have the same one in my garage! |

Craftsman vise made by Columbian.
If you cruise around the google, there's a guy with the same one that dates his to 1966, and another guy somewhere else with a 1976 catalog with vises in it marked "made in Japan", so one might guess that it's prior to '76 and somewhere around '66. |

From that image it is from 69/70 up to the end of 73 when Columbian was bought out. |
