Well over the past couple years I've gained over 50 pounds.  I used to work out and run all the time. Then I got a career, got married and had 2 sons.  It's time I lost that weight and started feeling good about myself again.  I will be doing P90X to start and possibly adding insanity.  Eventually I will get back into lifting weights.  I've done P90X before and I liked it.  I'm putting myself on a good diet too.  Looking for some words of encouragment.  Thanks guys hopefully in 90 days I'll be a new man.

Finished the whole video plus ab ripper.  Was dead tired but after I went for a half mile walk.  Then for lunch I made sweet potato hash with eggs.  Gonna drink lots of water and think of a good dinner.

The worst part is missing a jump, the best part is making that jump later on.

I like plyo because I can keep up with most of it.  Only towards the end is when I start slowing.

I did it before for about 45 days I know it works, it's just hard to get started.

I have the opposite problem. I find it easy to get started but very difficult to stick with it.

Great job bro! Keep up the good work. Swim if you can, it will help with the muscle soreness.

If I do it for a week or week and a half straight it becomes like a routine for me.

I am on week 3 of p90x OP. This has been my toughest week. But you got this, you have your mind right, stay dedicated. Keep it up. Let it form a routine! I posted pics (embarrasing pics nonetheless). When I don't want to do it, I just think, damnit all these strangers saw me in all my fatness, lol. Gotta do better!!  Don't give in. Tony gets a little annoying but in Ply he says,"You can do anything for 30 seconds". He is right. Just keep it up.

And I am saying all this to myself as I type this!!!

I had to put off my workout today because when I got up in the middle of the night to make my son's bottle I kicked a cupboard door tht had been left open.  I was pretty swollen and hurt to walk on for most of the day.  It feels a lot better now.  So tomorrow I will make up today's workout and do the one for tomorrow.
