I'm looking for some good Newer but you could see them being classic Westerns (Seen most of John Wayne and Clint Eastwood's very awesome stuff) but looking for good newer Western Movies. I've seen some, but I know there are some good ones out there(Been doing alot of stuff for the Army and work and haven't had time for normal life as of late) figured I'd have the hive help a noob out. Oh and by the way not goofy ass Westerns like the one that Will Smith was in, that was just fucking weird.
Note: I never heard to much about deadwood on this site but is it worth the watch? I'll set up a poll because I'm bored. From 5 star to 1 star or never seen it so I can get an idea if it sucked or if I should watch it. Western Haters be gentle.

His heart made Swearengen look like a saint. All of the main characters were very strong, but the secondary characters made the series really shine. I gave it 5 stars but it's not a series that everyone will enjoy. It's very character driven and basically a violent soap opera set in a 19th century mining town. The only requirement is that you must start with episode one and watch them in sequence. Yes, like all HBO series you have to start from episode #1 or you won't ever fully understand and appreciate the characters or storyline. Me thinks thats why many don't fully appreciate any of the great HBO series. |
