Anyone had to say goodbye to a friend, family member on their death bed? I got to say goodbye to a friend (my wifes uncle) today, they are pretty sure he won't last the week. He has been fighting Acute Myeloid Leukemia for the last 3 years, this last round of chemo did him in. His body doesn't have the strength to recover. I was good all the way up to the point when we left... I can't imagine what the father in law is going through right now. We are blessed to be able to say goodbye and let him know he is loved and going to be missed. Deer hunting next year is going to be hard. Please pray that God our Father will gently take him up to heaven with him.

| My uncle who raised me died of cancer. I got a call one morning from the hospital telling me i should come quick. I held his hand, and said my good byes. Thanking him for everything he had taught me. I then told him id see him at a later time, and left the room. He passed within 2 minutes of me leaving. |
