| I just assumed everyone knew when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. I was watching this uber-gay shopping game show with my wife (quality time) and one of the questions was "What year was Pearl Harbor attacked?" or very close to that. Out of the 3 people on the show, nobody knew the year (1947 and 1955 were answers given IIRC) let alone the month and date. |

You know, after Sep 11 2001(or was it 2002.I forget) everyone was saying "we will never forget" etc, and i took the "we" as those who lived thru it, or will tell our children about it. After a few generations, it fades. In 75 - 100 years, unless your into history or have cool family stories or what not, the majority just won't know. So thinks I. |
