I am looking for a new phone now or soon to be released.

1) I don't want a protruding button, such as many Samsung phones have.   They have a tendency to be activated too easily.   This is a feature I hate about my Samsung Note 3.
2) The iPhone series does not seem to be friendly to surfing.   Specifically, I read a lot.  IPhones don't seem to text wrap.  Thusly, they are a pain when reading web foruns such as for guns and cars.  Please correct the information I have  if you are certain how to get the iPhone to be AR15.COM friendly with text wrapping.
3) I would prefer a phone that has a SD card slot for expanded memory and a removable battery, in that order of preference.
4) All other features such as camera and speakers are less relevant than those above .

Please, no irrelevant comments, disrespectful comments, nor insults of members.

Here is an example of a properly formatted page using text wrapping.

iPhone text wraps just fine.  I don't know where you're getting this information...?

ETA- NM, I see what you mean.  Its not that big of an issue for me in landscape.

Site works great on my Note 4 using Chrome.  I am posting from it now.

Battery is a beast...and the removable back and SD card also rock, which is why I went with the N4 instead of the N5.

ETA:  but yeah, button

My HTC One M8 text wraps, and meets your specs, but the battery life isn't all that great but I've had mine 2 years so IDK if its fading or not.

Might check out that Droid Turbo 2.  I think I might get it but I'm not convinced yet.

What is exactly are you complaining about button wise

Epic, note and the new big jazz note I have works fine, same as lap top or desk top....

I just browse with chrome on all mobile devices

Use chrome and any phone will work. I have the s6, and I don't know what you mean about it activating easily. It's a pretty substantial click.

Okay so biggest issue it has button you have to push....which if it is in a case is a mute point

Don't push the button...wait...after you push the button you have to swipe screen to unlock

Maybe I am just too old to figure out the button issue?

In 25 years of cell phones I have never butt dialed or accidentally did anything phone related

Instead of just saying "read requirements" say what issue is

I just got a S6 and the button is not easy to activate by any means.  But the OP wants a phone without a button. I would look at the HTC One M9, or the LG G4, or the Nexus 6.  I have only had experience with the HTC One M8 it worked very good to browse ARF.  It was a solid phone but I ended up going to the S6 because of the better camera and wireless charging.

I have an s4, s5, and s6 along with an old iPhone 4s and 5. The iPhone definitely word wrap and I cannot fathom how you are accidentally hitting the button on the samsungs, whether they are cased or not.

Sometimes when YOU are doing it wrong it behooves you to learn of how to correct your own errors instead of searching for solutions to nonproblems.

Troll thread?

It's not the phone but the site itself. If a site isn't mobile optimized it will never look right on any mobile device
unless the screen is large enough.

I have a 6 Plus. The only issue I encounter is when someone quotes an image with a ridiculously long url. I do have to resize the screen at that point.

I also surf the web in landscape exclusively. Portrait is for suckas.

I've got an M8 and I think the battery isn't that bad.  Granted I have disabled as many background apps as I can and uninstalled others to make it as lean as possible. Unless I stream music, I can usually make it through a whole day with about 30% left on the battery at bedtime.  That said,  my contract is up soon and I will be taking a hard look at the new nexus phones.

LG  for me.   I have never logged in with anything else.

I read a lot too,  I use cool reader.

Unfortunately you will be screwed with battery removal and SD card.   This is the first phone I have had that did not have an SD card but I store most of my big stuff on a laptop that I can easily get information from.
