You know. When the 320 came out I wanted to like it. IT felt good in the hand. Handled well. Going bang the gun did well and I was reasonably accurate with the few that I shot. For me anyway. NEVER OWNED ONE. The trigger was a WTF moment in all cases... I just felt OFF or Wrong is the best word I can describe. Some told me to my face it was better than a Glock. LOLOL Yeah dude. Sure.. Just something about the trigger. I Didn't trust it. I guess I dodged a bullet because A Few times I thought about buying one. I have bought 2 sig pistols in my life. Sig 229 in the late 90's and a 365 when they came out. The 229 I sold a few years after buying to a friend of my dad. I NEVER bought a 320... That gun will never sell well again. Local gun shop said a guy wanted $200 for an Sig X5 Legion the one with the gray frame with tungsten in it. They don't take 320's period. It was complete had 4 mags and box paperwork everything really good shape. NOT new but very lightly used. Magazines were clean and in good shape along with the gun. The guy took care of it. Around here there are a few DIE hard SIG idiots. 320 this 320 that. Good enough for the US Military. LOLOL.... |

It truly is a shame that the P320 is a soon-to-be-dead platform. I actually think it’s a joy to shoot, and although Sig didn’t come up with the FCU concept, the P320 allowed it to take off and become more common. Sig completely fumbled the handling of the uncommanded discharge accusations, however; and they will not recover from it. All they had to do was say, “Yeah, we’ll look into and make some design changes if we have to” instead of “Nyet! Nothing wrong with pistol, peasant!” |

My gunsmith has tried and tried to get one to accidentally discharge and has not succeeded yet. |

Retailers are swimming in a never-ending stream of cheap lightly-used P320s being dumped by agencies, so there will be plenty to go around for quite a while.  One of my local gun shops won't even take in P320s on trade or consignment because they can't get rid of them. |

I’ll preface this by saying that the P226 X-Five SAO is one of the nicest production guns on the market. That being said… The P250 was a meh at best pistol that felt like it was targeted at people too cheap to buy a HK USP. I sold more SP2022s by a huge margin. The 320 just feels like a kludged together striker fired P250 and mounting an optic to the originals was one of the most obnoxiously bad designs on the market. Then I had send back every one in inventory for a “voluntary upgrade” because they apparently were not entirely drop safe. I have no idea what causes all of the Sigcidents, but there are too many data points for it to not be something about the design that either makes it go off or makes it more prone to NDs by the user. |
