Man Arrested in Centralia After Leading WSP on Pursuit From Thurston County Man Arrested in Centralia After Leading WSP on Pursuit From Thurston County By The Chronicle Nov 26, 2018 An Auburn man was arrested in Centralia on a felony eluding charge after allegedly leading authorities on a vehicle chase starting somewhere in Thurston County and ending on foot in Centralia. A Washington State Patrol spokesperson didn't immediately respond to a request for comment regarding what prompted the chase. In Centralia, police were notified at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday of a pursuit heading southbound on Interstate 5. Officers deployed spike strips on the southbound Exit 82 ramp, in case the vehicle's driver, later identified as Javier Caldera, 25, tried to head into Centralia which is allegedly what happened, said Centralia Police Department Sgt. Dave Clary. The vehicle drove over the strips, and blew at least one tire, said Clary, and ended up crashing into a nearby fence on Harrison Avenue. Caldera allegedly left the vehicle and ran away. Officers looked around the area for a couple hours without finding Caldera. Clary said officers went to businesses in the area and described the suspect to staff members. One eventually spotted Caldera on foot in the area and contacted police. Officers responded and arrested him without further incident. He was turned over to WSP. View Quote |

What the hell is it with Mexican/Hispanics and DUI crashes? I don't get it. Maybe it's confirmation bias but it seems like nearly every time you read about DUI crashes it's a Hispanic name. Some shitbag just killed three teenagers in Salem, OR a couple days ago, you guessed it, Hispanic and multiple prior DUI offenses. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Mexican cops don’t really arrest that many people for DUI. No such thing as honest and professional traffic enforcement either. It has an effect on society where Mexicans just aren’t that afraid or deterred to drive under the influence. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I was supposed to work in Temecula this morning. Glad they let me work remote today, instead. I would have been there right around the time that happened.
ETA: I was supposed to be at Temecula Valley Hospital. I wonder if that’s where they took the victims. |

The pictures shown in the news articles make me wonder how only one person died. Damn that wasn't good to watch.

Sad for the woman killed. Probably never saw it coming.
On impact it looked like a body flew up in the air. |

Oh man.
I was traveling from Palm Springs to Vista/Carlsbad today. Ended up taking a different route than the usual 215 to 15 because of the traffic in Temecula. It was still backed up for 5-6 miles even at 10:45 am. Very sad. _ |

Fucking rubber neckers in the opposite lanes What’s the back story on this besides the guy who looked to be doing 90+ ?? Chevy's top out at 100 mph unless you flash the ecu. So, let's say 100 to 10 mph. Pretty horrific either way. One more reason to be in an SUV or truck instead of a car. It's just physics at that point. |

Guy had to be traveling over 110MPH! That stretch of the 15fwy is 70mph speed limit, the cruising speed is 80mph.
Did anyone notice the motorcycle coming up fast in te rear view camera? I wonder if he was chasing or had anything to do with the truck driver? |
