I think there's some truth to that video. The 1970s George Lucas was cooler, edgier, and part of the The New Hollywood crowd (Scorsese, Coppola, Spielberg, etc.). The 1990s/2000s Lucas was a softer, politically-correct, more bland kind of film maker.
