I thought maybe one or two of you might be interested in this. I was wondering how accurate the tach in my plane was, so I bought one of these Glo-Bee digital tachs for $25.
http://secure.hobbyzone.com/GPMP2500.html I tested it with a light bulb, signal generator, and a frequency counter, and it is dead accurate. I pointed it out my windshield, and it worked great. The tach in my plane reads 50 RPM low at full power. |
