I can see the attraction in the big manly man quality, but why the dimples? Every woman I've ever known had a thing for dimples. Is it just another one of those unknowns?

I dunno. Some men have a puffy nipple fetish. Plenty have a thing for redheads, or freckles.

Some traits just draw you in.

Dimples show up when you smile. A man with dimples "smiles" when he talks. It's mesmerizing, looking at the dimples appear and deepen as he's saying something.
