I took a ride to my LGS this afternoon just to see what was going on. When I walked in, the owner gives me a big grin and says "I have something for you" and pulls out an Advantage Arms .22 kit for the 19/23. They had been on their distributor's waiting list since late October when I bought my gen 3 G19, and expressed interest in owning a kit.
So I paid for the kit, and left to go home to head out to the range. I noticed only after making it all the way home from the gun shop that the kit was for a gen4 G19/23.  I took the kit right back, and the owner was more than willing to take the kit back, and said that he would make sure to get on the waiting list for a gen1-3 kit. No harm done, but damn am I disappointed. On the other hand if anyone is looking for an AA kit for a GEN4 G19/23 I can point you in the right direction.
