Does anybody here put any faith in them?? I have had the opportunity to observe several over the years from a distance. Meaning that I did not participate.
The only thing I can conclude is that if this is what the public is depending on in a time of crisis.............they are in trouble. More screw ups than you can shake a stick at. And the mistakes are repeated time after time. It would be more realistic to call disaster drills " accident drills " . This is about the level that could maybe be handled. No more than 50 cases. The drills seem to be more about giving the public a false sense of security. One drill failed because the keys could not be found to the " decon " room. Took 90 minutes to get them. I guess that would be the real disaster. GD |
