You can be a current subscriber, like I am.  Just have to commit to 24 months of autopay, or pay a one time $99 fee.  I was already doing the autopay for penny Cinemax for a year.

That I don't know.  If you have an online acct, just log in and use the live chat.  Or give them a call.  The receivers I got are compatible to my 2 HDTVs.  You could also go to support and pull up the specs on your receiver.

Damn I'd have to get a new receiver, we have one HD and one SD and my TV just happens to be on the SD one.
