Andor was done well because of three things.
1. No fucking Force. 2. Adults acted like adults. 3. No fucking Force. |

I've said it before.
Andor is a great movie, and would STILL stand alone on its own as a great movie if you took away the Star Wars-ness. |

I try not to play pedantry but that made me wonder if he was talking about Rogue One or something. |

I bet Ashoka tried to get Sabine to tap into it and she resisted just like her training with kanan or not wanting to be the mandalore even though she had the dark saber if I remember right I’m rewatching obi wan with my son this week. It’s not as bad as I remembered… until every scene with young leia or the ex Jedi ghetto chick. Really looking forward to the pixel joker recut. |

Plus it didn’t help how slow the first few episodes were. That didn’t bother me, but I can see how most would be turned off. |

Also rewatching Rebels in preparation for Ashoka. Season one was rough to get through. I’m on season 2 episode 13. It’s gotten better.

My wife has been watching Andor for the past couple of days, and I've been in the same room.
NOTHING about it grabs me. It's like a slow moving soap opera. |

View Quote Andor was Good in the first few episodes, AWESOME in the middle, and petered out there towards the end with some Great moments. I enjoyed about 87% of it as a pretty well done return to an Empire Strikes Back era Star Wars. |

Disney Spends $49 Million On Star Wars Spinoff ‘The Acolyte’
Little is known about “The Acolyte,” which is set to land on the Disney+ streaming platform next year. In a recent podcast interview with Entertainment Weekly, the show runner Leslye Headland revealed that “The Acolyte” takes place around 100 years before the events of the first Star Wars prequel, “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.” |
