Don't want to pay? Move across state lines, and tell the custodial parent "good luck having that support order enforced" (The State enforcement people will tell you the same thing too!). You'll be a total douche bag, but at least you won't have to pay CS. I'm a dad who got custody and I don't see a thin dime of support, thanks to the aforementioned method. |

He pays $1500 a month in child support. Mom tells kid he's dead. She calls another man Dad. He keeps paying hoping some day the courts will force a custody agreement. |
| There was a point where we celebrated Christmas and Easter with my dad in a Suburban in a Holiday Inn parking lot. It was fun and interesting as a kid but looking back as an adult I realize how unfair the situation was. The way the courts treat fathers is absolutely shameful in most cases. |

I've got a few divorce threads, my ex gets about half of my check she has bought a new jeep and a new in ground swimming pool in less than 6 months. I also have to split half of medical costs and the cost of activities for the kids. I will do anything for my kids but there has to be a line drawn somewhere.

Family law is a money making machine for Family Law attorneys. After two divorces in CA with kids involved both times I officially learned what "Divide by zero" feels like. Then the gheys demanded the right to marry and I laughed my ass off with one single thought...."Be careful what you wish for". |

My son is grown now thank God and I no longer am under the oppression of the office of support enforcement. I worked for them for 15 yrs until she released him to come live with me. He turned out great in spite of all the difficulty and we have an awesome relationship. Now I just wish I could have saved a little for my retirement. His mom is set up with her house paid off. I will work till I die.
I am a tradesman and often was laid off during the winter months. At one point they were going to take away my Journeyman license and my drivers license. What kind of fucked up logic is that? I kinda have to be able to work if I'm going to be able to pay support. Fuck the current system and the evil bitches that control it.
I guess I'm still pissed even after all these years.

Got a pack of whopper-grade lies thrown at me, then got told to pipe down by the wonderful staff member when i tried to refute them. And I couldn't have my lawyer in there either. I got what was best for my daughter in the long run, but in the "impartial" eyes of that hag, I was a shitbird the minute I walked through the door. Ex tried the same schtick with the judge later that day, and he saw through that bullshit and shut her down in about six seconds. |

Don't speak disrespectfully of your wives, ex or otherwise. Have some self-respect and don't teach young men that this kind of vitriol is OK. The 20 and 30 somethings coming up behind us are broken. I have no issue at all caring for my children, of course not. I do feel the money paid should be accountable to the payer and the courts. Give 1000 toward the child, cool. Show where it is spent on the child. That new BMW, is not going to to the child. These days it is easy money for the female to get the children and the make money doing nothing. Not divorced but see it everyday. |

I get my child 49.5% of the time (no really) and yet I pay 18% with deviation of 2% from guidelines due to extra curriculars that go over guidelines, and insurance. So why should I be responsible for everything and some while mother uses unemployment, child support and gov benefits? [ govt mandated indentured servitude] PS, my ex was a psychotic bitch who stole drugs from the Dr's office she worked at and was truly nuts, I got full custody at 12, he's 27 now, just finished up his masters classes related to chem [just thesis now] she has seen him twice in 15 years. CS enforcement is nationalized these days----at least for fathers because men are the enemies of the state not women. If you have a SS# you got problems. |

I am definitely the exception. Only reason I got custody is because the x was a drug addict and didn't show for any of the court custody hearings.
She has not paid child support since November 2011 but they have not done anything to her cause she is a woman, in my mind. Sure I have not perused it with the enforcement people but I bet a woman wouldn't have to. |
| This year in NY they added a new form that has to be served with every divorce stating that people ( i.e. Wives) are entitled to spousal support and both parties have to state under oath they know that before the divorce is final. Apparently too many men are escaping the courts' clutches without paying spousal support in top of child support |
