Awesome. He flew that thing smooth as silk. Without scale references I couldn't tell that it was RC at all. He should see if they need some cheap effects shots for the Red Dawn remake.

Well, those appear to be 12" GI. Joe type action figures in the cockpit. So that should give a decent size comparison.

I went to a RC demonstration show south of Daytona Beach, FL a few years back. A guy there had a a similar sized F16, but it was a little larger. Real turbine engine, and over $20K invested... so he said. Shortly after takeoff, he crashed.

The man cried.

I haven't seen many armed R/C planes/helos. But the R/C battleship guys shoot at each other with BB cannon and have sinkable and replaceable balsa wood hulls. Plus you don't have to worry about crashing.
