I had my check engine ligh come on in my 2001 Durango 5.9. The code is P1763, Manufacturer Control Transmission. What does this mean? Transmission Control Module? Thanks.

How did you find out the code # ? When you buy any readers you usually get a booklet that tells you what the code means.

It might be governor pressure sensor too high. Transmission code I know.

We have our last Dodge, been nothing but trouble.
Intermittent problem, most times doesn't even set a code.
Nothing but a money pit......
